Webcasting: In collaboration with GoodMood in Helsinki Finland, wefacilitated a historic webcast for the Finnish Olympic Committee to introduce its new chairman, Roger Talermo. Talermo was in Chicago, and unable to attend a meeting in Finland to confirm his nomination. Through the webcast, Talermo was able to speak to the audience of the Olympic Committee and invited press. The webcast was broadcast live on the internet, as well as on a national Finnish television station and three cable stations overseas.
"This webcast service offered a solution to an unexpected communicational problem," said Jouko Purontakanen, the General Secretary of the Finnish Olympic Committee. "It was necessary to get the new chairman's comments published in real time to members of the election committee and media. We are satisfied to the out of this . The webcast was done easily, flexibly and qualifiedly."
